Marva Shand McIntosh is the first vice president of the International Listening Association and the founder of the premiere international listening day, I Love to Listen Day-May, 16th. She is also a licensed speech-language pathologist and an internationally Certified Listening Professional. Marva is a proud graduate of West Indies College High School (Victor Dixon High). She claims Northern Caribbean University as one of the institutional pillars in her life. Marva declares that "NCU is the training ground for my formative educators, my spiritual leaders and my lifelong friends." Marva served as the president of the Metropolitan Washington D.C. alumni chapter of NCU for 10 years. She added that, “It is my honor to invest in NCU by serving as the secretary on the board of NCU International Education Foundation.”
